Dr. Robert H. Eckel
Robert H. Eckel, M.D
Dr. Eckel obtained his B.S. degree in Bacteriology from the University of Cincinnati in 1969 and his M.D. at the University of Cincinnati in 1973. He completed his residency in medicine at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals from 1973-1976 and did a fellowship in Endocrinology and Metabolism at the University of Washington from 1976 to 1979.
Dr. Eckel is currently appointed as President-Elect of the American Heart Association, Professor of Medicine, Division of Endocrinology, Metabolism and Diabetes, and Professor of Physiology and Biophysics at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.
